1st Day : ANKARA
Arrival at Ankara Airport. After customs clearance, reception of the group. Transfer to your hotel.

2nd Day :Ankara - CAPPADOCIA
Explore Ankara, the capital city of Modern Turkey, starting with the Museum of Ancient Anatolian Civilizations where eloquent Neolithic statues, giant Hittite reliefs, and King Midas’ belongings are just a part of the museum’s marvelous collection.
Visit the Mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, father of the Turkish Republic, an important place of reverence for Turkish people.
Drive to Cappadocia via the Salt Lake Road.

Cappadocia is a region that is as inspirational as it is awesome. Fairy chimneys formed by wind and water, magnificently painted churches carved into the rock and breathtaking panoramas, are everywhere. Take in the colors of Goreme churches, hike Zelve Valley, inhabited until 1950, and now a ghost town and explore Uchisar Village clustered around a rock pinnacle with a splendid view of the entire region. Visit Cavusin village, and the pottery village of Avanos, famous for its hand-made red clay pottery. Enjoy a demonstration of pottery making here.

4th Day : Cappadocia – Konya - PAMUKKALE
Follow the old silk road to Konya, where the remains of old caravansaries dot the road. These monumental constructions offered protection to traveling merchants and served as hotels. Stop to explore Sultanhan, one of the most beautiful caravansaries in Turkey. Continue to Konya, the city that became an Islamic center of cultural and spiritual studies under the influence of Rumi (Mevlana). You will have a short sightseeing tour of Konya before continuing traveling on the road between the Anatolian plateau and the Taurus Mountains to Pamukkale.

5th Day : Pamukkale - KUSADASI
Explore ancient Hierapolis where people once came for the hot springs and also the source of the famous calcareous formations of Pamukkale before driving to Kusadasi on the Aegean Sea. Ancient Ephesus rests majestically at the cross point between land and sea routes. Antiquity comes alive in Ephesus as you walk down the marble road in the footsteps of emperors and merchants. Complete your visit with the Ephesus Museum, the House of Virgin Mary and the Basilica of St. John.

6th Day : FKusadasi – Izmir – Flight to ISTANBUL
Drive to Izmir, ancient Smyrna, to stroll along this Aegean port city’s lovely seaside promenade. Visit the recently excavated Agora in Izmir. Drive to Izmir Menderes Airport for flight to Istanbul. Transfer to your hotel in Istanbul.

7th Day : ISTANBUL
Plunge to the heart of the history of Constantinople/Istanbul and discover its principal Byzantine and Ottoman monuments: St. Sofia Museum, the sixth-century church built by the Emperor Justinian crowned with its awesome dome, the Ancient Hippodrome, the Blue Mosque named for the beautiful blue Iznik ceramic tiles, and Topkapi Palace, the residence of the Ottoman sultans. Free time to wander around the Grand Bazaar.

After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to Istanbul International Airport.
